# Vibe EDI > Vibe EDI is a managed EDI service. Each customer gets a dedicated AS2 endpoint that exchanges X12 and EDIFACT documents with its trading partners and delivers them to its ERP as JSON. You don't need to be a developer to run it: Vibe Mapping builds the translation maps from plain-English descriptions, and the Vibe Agent sets up the trading partners and EDI agreements for AS2 and EDI communication. There is no VAN: trading partners connect directly to the customer's own endpoint. ## What a non-developer can do - Build maps without code: describe the mapping in plain English (for example, "put the ship-to name in shipTo and add up the line quantities") and provide sample files. Vibe Mapping writes the map, runs it on the samples, and shows the result before the map is used. There is no mapping language to learn. - Set up partners and agreements by conversation: tell the Vibe Agent who the trading partner is and how they connect. The agent prepares the partner profile and the EDI agreement (the AS2 connection, the partner's identities, and the documents exchanged). Each change is reviewed and approved before it takes effect. - Find out why something failed: ask the Vibe Agent in plain language. It reads the message history and explains the cause and the fix. - Onboard partners safely: test with a partner before going live. Test traffic is kept out of production. - Fix and replay: a failed document stays in the message history and can be sent again after the fix. ## What the platform does - Receives documents from trading partners over AS2, and sends documents to them. - Translates X12 and EDIFACT into JSON for the ERP, and JSON from the ERP back into EDI. - Sends and tracks acknowledgements automatically. - Delivers incoming documents to the ERP over webhooks. The ERP sends outgoing documents with one API call. ## Policies - [Privacy Policy](https://vibeedi.com/privacy) - [Terms of Service](https://vibeedi.com/terms) - [Website Terms of Use](https://vibeedi.com/terms-of-use) - [security.txt](https://vibeedi.com/.well-known/security.txt): Security contact. ## Optional - [Launch film](https://vibeedi.com/static/launch-film.html): A short animation of a purchase order going from a trading partner to JSON in an ERP.
